The kick off meeting of the IMPACT project will be held in Athens on the 9th and 10th of February 2012. The project, which is co-financed by the European Union (under the Grundtvig Programme), is implemented by EEO Group in association with 5 European partners including BEST (AT), Roc Nijmegen (NL), SPI (PT), Enoros Consulting (CY) and Flexible Learning Associates (UK).

Its main aims are:

• to develop and implement novel learning and teaching approaches and strategies that foster the key competencies of employees in SMEs,
• to raise employee understanding of business processes through involvement in a work-based learning programme that utilises the growing awareness of environmental impact issues and
• to develop and implement an adult trainer training programme based on the employee training course “Carrying out an Environmental Review in the Workplace”.
